Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations and maintenance, SPIE Oil & Gas Services was selected to provide this activity in ANGOLA.

We are currently looking for a Well Services Manager to further strengthen our skills in this field by integrating talents capable of blending into our teams and thus participating in our growth in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Well Services Manager in charge of the following task & Duties :

  • To manage the Machine shops in LUANDA (SPIE base) & SOYO
  • To increase the productivity & efficiency of the Machine shops.
  • To manage the customers relationship & contracts (EXXON, AZULE, TOTAL…) etc.
  • To ensure the coordination of both workshop (LUANDA & SOYO).
  • To ensure that services are being carried out to satisfaction of COMPANY.
  • To ensures quality of services by performing audits, VOP and certification audit as well (VAM/ TENARIS / API / etc…)
  • To ensure the HSE procedures are understood and implemented by SPIE OGS.
  • To assess and develop the technical competence of SPIE OGS and subcontracted staff with know how transfer.
  • To perform Audit of the suppliers
  • To define the planning of activities and coordinate them,
  • To manage procurement and stock.
  • To prepare the Budget and the forecasts (he is responsible for his P&L)
  • To manage SPIE and subcontracted staff
  • To prepare the reports including Salesforce
  • To update IFS data for his contracts (Validation and creation of POs etc..)
  • To manage the team of NDT Inspection and Pipe Yard.
  • To participate to projects defined by top management of the company.

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree
  • Ability to lead the team
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
  • Medical clearance to travel and work offshore.
  • Languages: English necessary, French & Portuguese is an advantage.
  • He must have a proven sense of responsibility and a talent for management. He must be rigorous and methodical in his approach to operations.   
  • He must show common sense and be able to anticipate and analyse. A natural, flexible authority is essential.

He will be the onshore as resident.
