The Computer
Information Systems (CIS) Department at Florida A&M University is accepting qualified applications Computer Support Analyst
vacancy.

Responsibilities

Provide technical
support for departmental local area network consisting of MS Windows workstations, Sun Solaris, VMware, and Windows servers; Maintain
interoperability of network services; Apply functional and security patches to installed software; Maintain clean, safe, and functioning
laboratory environment for students and faculty; Respond to student service requests, including reports of malfunctioning equipment,
software or network access; Maintain records of requests and their resolution; Develop and maintain documentation for using available
hardware and software; Use appropriate formats: printed, web pages, links to external resources, videos, etc.; Respond promptly to faculty
requests for equipment, software, or special set-ups to support teaching and research; and Perform other duties as required.


Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma and six
years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the
required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support; Proficiency in Windows and
macOS operating systems; Excellent communication skills.

Pay
Plan

This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System)
position.

Conditions of
Employment

Successful candidate is subject to a pre-employment screening which includes a review of
