Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Deck Foreman both level 1 & 2.
The Deck Foreman is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the loading and unloading of equipment on supply vessels, supervising the deck crew, and ensuring all activities comply with safety procedures and regulations.
The Deck Foreman also maintains equipment and manages inventory levels.
Qualifications / Requirement
ND in Engineering.
3 Years’ Experience,
API Crane Operator Level 3 competent in lift supervision (Deck Foreman Level 1)
ND in Engineering or NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent, API Crane Operator Level 3, competent in Lift Plan development and Supervision (Deck Foreman Level 2)
Experience with offshore drilling operations and supply vessels
Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Must be physically fit and able to work long hours if required
Certification
BS or API crane operator Stage 3 certificate
OPITO Stage 3 Rigger cert.
Lifting Supervisor cert.
Firstline crane maintenance cert.
Leadership training certification
