Job Description
The Director of Sales for the Tenado brand will have a strong background in sales operations and sales management in the B2B software space, with comprehensive experience selling to SMB/Midmarket SaaS accounts including high-velocity small ticket (<10k EUR) deals. Additionally, the Director of Sales will onboard and coach sales reps for high efficiency, plan sales-related marketing campaigns, and ensure development and implementation of efficient operations to meet current and future needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train high-velocity sales reps
- Player-coach role; it is expected that the sales director is able to do own sales as well
- Coach with proven ability to measure and drive performance as well as provide real-time coaching/create actionable development plans.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
- Implements a prescriptive selling playbook. Ability to understand the customer’s purchasing journey, understand obstacles, and develop tools to overcome challenges
- Provides weekly forecast using data to establish accurate predictions for quarterly performance
- Conduct QBRs (quarterly business reviews) by leveraging insights from data and to improve rep productivity
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- You have at least 3 years of sales management experience and have extensive knowledge of software sales ideally in the sale of CAD or other transactional/high-velocity B2B solutions i.e. rather short sales cycles (< 30 days).
- Experience leading sales teams of at least five FTEs that do own prospect outreach and that consistently meet or exceed sales projections.
- You have experience in quarterly, number-based forecasting, can manage growth and/or scale a SaaS / SW business model and establish appropriate structures/processes
- Experience in developing a training process that effectively equips reps for closing deals and consistently meeting quotas.
- Experience structuring, tracking, and improving KPIs and metrics to manage and lead the business.
