Our client is a dynamic and successful all-in-one Marketing Software Company catering to course creators, coaches, and online marketers and are seeking a Social Media Manager. This role will work closely with their CEO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing their social media presence, creating compelling content, and editing videos to capture the essence of the CEO’s vision and the brand’s messaging. Proficiency in Descript, Copywriting, and B2B Social Media Management are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation and Strategy: Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the CEO’s vision and brand. This includes writing copy, creating video content, and strategizing across various social media platforms.

  • Video Editing: Perform detailed video editing, including timestamping and pulling interesting clips from recordings for review. Utilize tools like Descript to edit content effectively.

  • Social Media Management: Manage and schedule posts on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and engaging.

  • Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of current trends on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms to ensure content remains fresh and appealing.

  • Collaboration and Review: Work closely with Calvin to review content and ensure it aligns with his message and the brand’s tone.

  • Content Repurposing: Extract and repurpose content from longer videos into smaller, impactful segments suitable for various social media platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation, particularly in settings involving SMBs, coaching, or course creators.

  • Proven skills in detailed video editing using Descript, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar

  • Proven copywriting skills

  • Ability to capture and reproduce the CEO’s voice and the brand’s messaging accurately.

  • Proficiency in content calendar strategizing and management.

  • Basic video editing skills and strong copywriting experience are essential.

  • A knack for creating engaging marketing video hooks.

  • Ability to work diligently, thoroughly, and swiftly, with a mindset geared towards growth and success.

  • Excellent communication skills and a propensity for over-communication.

  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and software.

  • Eagerness to absorb and learn from Calvin’s content and approach.

They will excel in capturing the essence of the CEO’s teachings and their core values, transforming them into compelling social media content and strategies that resonate with our audience.
