The ideal candidate will be a Player- Coach responsible for the evolution and execution of the BI strategy for Global Services, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making, while ensuring data integrity and accuracy. This role requires expertise in BI tools and data visualization, handling raw, unstructured data and transforming it into actionable insights to help business partners make informed decisions. You know how to identify the information needs of the business and develop creative solutions using custom dashboards and reports.

What You’ll Be Doing:

    Leading:

  • Manage and coach a global team of Business Intelligence Analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Run weekly sprint planning and retrospective meetings for an agile team
  • Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality and consistency
  • Reporting:

  • Collaborate directly with business partners to build fully automated Tableau dashboards to accomplish reporting objectives
  • Implement descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics across multiple business functions
  • Create cutting-edge data visualizations with simple and intuitive UI
  • Interface with engineering teams to architect a scalable reporting infrastructure
  • Influencing business operations:

  • Consult with business leaders to streamline operations based on insights from our data
  • Help our systems and processes work together to generate clean data and deliver a great user experience
  • Train stakeholders to leverage our reporting

Required background:

  • 3+ years managing Business Intelligence teams
  • 7+ years in a business analyst, data analyst, data science, engineering, or related role
  • 3-5+ years experience creating dashboards and reports with a data visualization tool
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a quantitative discipline like mathematics, MIS, engineering, or computer science
  • Operations or customer experience in a SaaS company
  • Business acumen, including an understanding of financial terms and metrics
  • SQL proficiency and familiarity with querying relational databases (e.g., Amazon Redshift and Snowflake)
  • Advanced Tableau skills and experience with Salesforce
  • Knowledgeable with Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to executives

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Tableau Prep, Certinia (formerly FinancialForce), OpenAir, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling, design thinking, agile, and/or machine learning
  • Project management experience and/or certifications
