Position description :
Operations
not directly involved in operations conducted on site. However, he ensures the quality of such operations by regularly organising audits and reviews. These audits and reviews chiefly concern:
competence of personnel carrying out operations and quality of the operations,
implementation of HSE regulations, technical procedures.
Methods
Establishing the operating and maintenance procedures to be applied.
Under instruction from the Head of Maintenance ensures proper planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy level Maintenance operations in conjunction with production or other constraints,
Analyses indicators provided by the CMMS, stock management and intervention reports with a view to improving maintenance in his area (HSE, availability, preservation of equipment, optimisation of costs),
Makes sure that all Equipment and Spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS data base),
Ensures that the preventive maintenance operations scheduled on Facilities are executed as planned, ensuring that all necessary spare parts and materials are available as and when required,
Carries out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Maintenance dept from time-to time.
He participates in the preparation & scheduling by ensuring all materials and services are organized and optimized as required of all site activities
He liaises with all third parts for troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment activities.
He works with company to define strategies for optimizing expenditure with subcontractor for level 4 and 5 Maintenance activities.
He takes part in different daily, weekly and site coordination meetings
He ensures feed back from site after vendor intervention and propose some improvement of installation
He analyses vendors repairs, failure reports, intervention repair, etc, and consolidate this data to make proposals to COMPANY for improvements and modifications.
Reviewing the stock management regarding spare parts (type of management, re-supply thresholds, etc.),
Proposes and justifies recommendations for the improvement of equipment availability, efficiency or maintainability and works in good collaboration with other entities to execute desired modifications,
Makes sure that all Equipment and Spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS data base),
Quality Assurance
In addition to audits and reviews as above mentioned he participates in periodic meetings with GMC and SMC to ensure proper surveillance.

He is responsible for the quality of studies carried out by back-up teams and ensures the satisfactory performance of on-site operations by organising audits and reviews. He contributes to a good level of availability of the installations on production sites by generally ensuring the quality of maintenance.
