Salary: $21.63 hourly for30 to 40 hours per week

Location: 373 Botsford Street, Newmarket, ON L3Y 1S7
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks with precision
  • The candidates should be comfortable sitting for extended periods
  • The candidates should possess a high level of attention to detail in performing tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adaptable to changing work conditions and collaborative in their approach to team projects
  • The candidates should demonstrate efficiency in completing assigned tasks and be hardworking in meeting job responsibilities
  • The candidates should uphold integrity in their professional conduct and possess effective time management skills
  • The candidates should strive for accuracy in their work and exhibit dependability in fulfilling job expectations

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries and maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists, and databases
  • The candidates should be able to sort, process, and verify applications, receipts, and other documents, process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • The candidates should be able to prepare invoices and bank deposits, photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing, and order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • The candidates should be able to file material in the storage area, label files according to retention and disposal schedules, and label, file, and retrieve documents
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and monitor contracts and budgets, work with minimal supervision, and perform data entry
