been an established adult educational facility in the city of Rochester NY for over 50 years. Conveniently located in Downtown Rochester,
the REOC has earned the reputation as one of the outstanding Centers in the state. REOC employees collaboratively provide skill and academic
training necessary for students to continue to college or obtain a career. REOC has a strong connection to both SUNY Brockport and the
University Center for Academic and Workforce Development. REOC is one of ten Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) and two Career Counseling
and Outreach Centers located throughout New York State, each with a commitment to supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce and student

Job Summary: The
Rochester Educational Opportunity Center (REOC) is currently accepting applications for a Videographer/Social Media Specialist. This
position is responsible for producing engaging and compelling written and visual content for marketing and communication purposes, while
supporting the functions of the Career Services department. The chosen candidate will be a creative self-starter with a passion for
excellence and a strong attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications,
    journalism, marketing, business, or related field, from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an
    internationally recognized college or university.
  • Proficient in video creation and editing, audio mixing, and social media
    platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to manage priorities across multiple channels.

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Master’ degree from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an
    internationally recognized college or university.
  • Familiarity with social media management software.
  • Basic graphic
    design skills.
  • Experience in higher education marketing.
  • Experience in Career Services.

Work
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm
Salary and Benefits: The Minimum Salary for this position is
$53,151.
