Primary Purpose of the Position :
The Digital and Classroom Services Manager plays a pivotal role in providing visionary leadership to implement and enhance campus-wide technology, encompassing audio, visual, and digital media infrastructure. This position is responsible for providing exceptional support to faculty, staff, and students, while driving efforts to integrate cutting-edge technology that elevates the teaching and learning environment. The manager oversees a team of dedicated full-time, on-call, and student staff to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of audio and video equipment, while prioritizing top-notch customer service and high-quality service delivery. The Digital and Classroom Services Manager assumes a critical responsibility in driving maximum customer satisfaction through efficient technical support and the successful implementation of a wide range of duties and responsibilities related to technology, audio-visual services, and digital media infrastructure.
Preferred Years Experience,Skills, Training , Education:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. 10 or more years of relevant experience may substitute for education requirements.
- Three to five years of management and leadership experiences
- Extron AV Associate Certification
- Certified Technology Specialist
- Demonstrated expertise in audio-visual technologies, digital media infrastructure, and instructional technology.
- Proven experience in project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Technical proficiency in a variety of AV and digital media equipment and software
