About The Opportunity:
In this technical role, you will assist the Asset Management Division by undertaking the challenges associated with the development and implementation of the City’s asset management strategies, processes, and tools. You will provide technical training and advice, participate in research activities, complete life cycle costing of alternative asset renewal or replacement strategies and participate in the development and implementation of asset data collection processes.
About Your Background:
You are a highly motivated professional with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and certification as an AScT or Certified Technician of BC. Ideally, you have at least five years of experience with design and/or operations and project management, preferably in the municipal or municipal consulting field along with considerable knowledge of asset management procedures and practices. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and enjoy working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
