The candidate will be required to execute FAT and tests on substation MV and LV equipment using the relevant test equipment required for the tests:
On transformers –
• IR Tests
• Winding resistance tests
• Ratio tests
• Magnetizing ratio tests
• Magnetic balance tests
• Vector group tests
• CT Tests
• REF stability tests
• Differential tests
• Cooling fan system functional tests
• Transformer protection tests
On switchgears –
• Ducter tests
• IR tests
• DC / AC Hipot tests
• Circuit breaker tests
• CT and VT tests
• Numerical relay tests
• Drawings schematic checks
• AMT scheme checks
• Upstream / downstream interlock checks
• Loop tests with automation system
An Electrical protection and testing specialist, with previous FAT and SAT
experience L&T panels and transformers, good communication and personal
organizational skills, hardworking, problem-solving oriented, and competent in the use of substation testing equipment
