Job Description


The Student Systems Support Manager is responsible for managing the technical support provided to users of the university student system (SITS) and associated applications.

The team consists of Student Support Administrators who provide first and second line support to users across the university, working closely with both our end users to provide support on key processes as well as with internal developers and analysts to help resolve issues.

This includes overseeing the correct and efficient use of systems, investigating technical issues and bugs to reach a resolution, and liaising with the vendor to raise software issues. The team are also required to support the testing, training and implementation of enhancements, upgrades and other system developments. This will involve supporting underlying business processes, producing manuals and guides, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and compliance with university and external body processes and regulations.

Please be aware that this is a 50% Hybrid/ 50% on campus role. We operate a hybrid working model, with 50% on campus from our High Holborn campus & 50% working from home.

About you

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of supporting student records systems and have management experience. You should be able to foster constructive cross team collaboration and be able to plan, prioritise and manage resources effectively to achieve long term objectives.
