Job Description


Overview:

INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced TS/SCI-cleared Technical Writer to join its team in support of the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Contracting and Procurement Office (CPO) to provide professional and management support services. You will be responsible for supporting initiatives that align with the DCSA Strategic Plan, conducting workforce and workplace studies, and providing project management support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Organization Design and Realignment Support:

  • Analyze organizational structure and environment to recommend restructuring for desired outcomes.
  • Align services with the DCSA Strategic Plan, perform business case analysis, and conduct benchmarking.
  • Develop organizational design courses of action, track plans of action and milestones, and identify dependencies and integration points.
  • Recommend new structure leadership and workforce, identify workforce realignment options, and establish roles and responsibilities.
  • Provide communications planning and support, highlighting resource needs.

Workforce and Workplace Studies:

    • Conduct studies supporting process, workforce, and workplace optimization.
    • Align studies with the DCSA Strategic Plan and utilize business process design tools.
    • Develop as-is and to-be process models, standardize and improve business processes.
    • Provide support to the implementation of study findings and targeted communications planning.

    Project Management Support Activities:

    • Provide support to key agency meetings addressing current, critical, and/or emerging topics.
    • Manage planning, scheduling, briefing materials, meeting management, and note-taking.
    • Facilitate activities involving enterprise-wide projects.

    Program Strategy Support:

    • Implement and execute support for cross-mission integration projects.
    • Align initiatives to the DCSA Strategic Plan, and perform process analysis and design.
    • Conduct data collection, research, and analysis related to projects and activities.
    • Develop and track plans of actions and milestones, conduct tabletop exercises, and periodically review initiative progress.
    • Support documentation and project management for an enterprise-wide, risk-driven system.
    • Assess and analyze the effectiveness of projects supporting agency cross-mission initiatives.

    Change Management:

    • Utilize change management best practices to address organizational dynamics of structural and cultural change.
    • Incorporate analysis of impacts associated with implementing organizational change.

    Originate and prepare written material, such as scripts, stories, advertisements, and other material.

    Mandatory Requirement: TS/SCI required

    Qualifications:

    A Journeyman labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. A Journeyman labor category typically performs all functional duties independently. TS/SCI required.
