Job Summary
The CloudOps Marketing team is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing Operations & Analytics. You will lead the team responsible for our marketing tech stack and marketing reporting/analytics, driving strategy and tactical execution. Responsibilities include defining, maintaining and evolving our martech stack, running the day-to-day marketing ops function, building and reporting marketing metrics against goals, managing our ABM platform from a set-up/operational standpoint, team budget management, and team leadership. This is a key leadership position in our CloudOps marketing team that requires a combination of analytical thinking, strategic vision, and hands-on admin level expertise in Marketo, Salesforce, and Demandbase.
This is a strategic, as well as hands-on role, to help improve our marketing effectiveness in delivering against our organization’s aggressive GTM goals. You will manage the marketing technology used across our team to deliver on goals and plans, ensuring that we are making the most of our technology investments. You will develop the insights to measure the impact of marketing on the overall business, including global campaigns impact from leads to pipeline generation. You will also build and develop a high-performing marketing operations team, creating a center of excellence across people, processes and technology. And you will also collaborate with NetApp’s marketing operations and sales operations teams to identify and leverage opportunities for collaboration.
Job Requirements
- Own our marketing systems architecture and strategy, ensuring that each tool in the tech stack is leveraged to help drive optimal marketing performance.
- Lead marketing automation projects via Marketo, including focus areas such as lead processing, lead enrichment, lead scoring, lead measurement, and program metrics/reporting.
- Own our marketing database and email marketing strategy, compliance, and data requests (e.g. segmentation, target account list creation).
- Oversee the ABM platform (Demandbase) strategic framework and set-up to support GTM success via a targeted account based marketing approach.
- Partner with marketing leadership to actively monitor, analyze, measure and report on the health of marketing contribution to pipeline, program ROI, and other funnel/performance metrics.
- Develop, implement, and disseminate metrics/KPIs about performance and outcomes through dashboards and data visualization tool sets to monitor business health, including marketing database hygiene, performance integrity and accuracy, capturing insights and making recommendations.
- Work cross-functionally, collaborating & liaising with stakeholders in marketing, sales & finance to understand challenges and opportunities that impact the GTM funnel and pipeline.
- Create presentations at the executive level, contribute to regular pipeline discussions with sales and marketing leadership.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the centralized NetApp Marketing Operations and Sales Operations teams to champion CloudOps Marketing Operations requests and share best practices.
- Manage and develop Marketing Operations & Analytics team members, including career development.
- Own relationship and collaboration with NetApp marketing technology and operations team.
Education
- 7+ years of B2B marketing operations & analytics leadership experience at high-growth SaaS companies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment with great attention to detail.
- Ability to lead a global organization and work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, product and finance to drive and influence business growth.
- Deep understanding of the sales and marketing technology landscape, with hands-on experience with tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Drift, Demandbase, and related analytical tools (e.g. GA4, Power BI). Ideal if Marketo and Salesforce certified.
- Ability to effectively develop, build and document new functional and operational processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.

The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $203,130 – $285,560. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. In addition, the position may include some of the following comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), sick time, leave of absence as per the FMLA and other relevant leave laws, Company bonus/commission, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s).
