Overview

Rithum is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning Analysis to join our finance organization. You will be responsible for developing and managing the planning, forecasting, and analysis function and implementing appropriate systems, analytical tools, and processes necessary to support the business. The ideal candidate will partner directly with the business, operational and functional teams working with the senior leadership team, ultimately providing analysis that drives efficiencies and improves financial results. The Senior Manager, Financial Planning Analysis requires experience leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and project analysis for a global company. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to turn data into insights and effectively communicate them in a manner which is actionable. This position reports to the Vice President of FPA and Revenue Operations. This role will offer candidates significant exposure and opportunity for impact across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Direct responsibility of financial planning analysis functions. Budget and forecast development including the gathering of necessary data, development of supporting models, collaborating with business partners to develop assumptions, and driving targets. Provide direction and support to key business partners.
  • Define, maintain and report upon the business metrics relevant to measuring success against those objectives.
  • Responsible for the development of monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad-hoc forecasts to provide direction and insight to leaders in order to support decision making.
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills; able to resolve business problems with well-structured analysis communicated in an effective manner.
  • Maintain a data infrastructure capable of supporting internal reporting and ad hoc analysis in a scalable and efficient manner.
  • Manages multiple competing priorities on a regular basis, without sacrificing the ability to deliver results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Strategic in thought and provides a big-picture perspective on issues and potential solutions, but demonstrates a willingness to “roll up your sleeves”.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of the staff and management both as a self-starter and in a team environment.
  • Ability to plan, organize and lead the work of others, while developing goals and objectives consistent with corporate vision and strategies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of experience financial planning, analysis and reporting
  • Proven track record with increasing responsibilities in the planning function
  • Strong business acumen, (SaaS or related Technology industry experience highly preferred)
  • Knowledge of GAAP, financial principles, budgeting practices and systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • Experience managing people in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Track record of building and sustaining solid relationships with staff, peers and executives, with superior communication and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as Netsuite or Oracle and CRMs such as Salesforce
  • Advanced MS Excel or similar spreadsheet skills
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Host Analytics, OLAP tools and Tableau, considered a plus.
  • Experience working with large amounts of data, data aggregation and analysis
