The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER for its Regional Headquarters based at Floréal.
The successful incumbent will be responsible to:
- Develop strategic plans to grow our brands on all relevant social media channels worldwide.
- Increase overall number of followers and improve engagement rates based on set KPIs.
- Keep social media channels updated and brand-focused for both corporate office and all resorts.
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
- Work on large projects, events, and community management for the corporate pages.
- Work closely with the Public Relations team of all resorts and monitor performance of their social media pages.
- Run and monitor our social media advertising together with our E-Commerce team.
- Work closely with marketing production department to create appealing design for our social media accounts.
- Research on current benchmark, social media trends, audience preferences and emerging social media platforms.
- Work as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns, especially for new openings.
- Collect and interpret analytics from the content and identify patterns and successes.
- Produce monthly reports on the performances and emerging social media trends and action accordingly.
- Conduct research on competitors and audience preferences.
- Monitor and respond to Guests and consumer engagements on social media channels.
- Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content.
- Work with the web development team to coordinate user-generated content (UGC ) to be pushed on our website weekly.
- Collaborate with other departments and the resorts to ensure brand consistency.
- Develop partnership with key influencers to grow our visibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Tertiary education at Degree Level in Public Relations or Marketing or Communications from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
- A minimum of 5 years in a marketing or content role or a similar position preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Working experience in social media management with luxury brands will be a definite advantage.

- High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proactive, dynamic, flexible, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Creative and innovative.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrate Project management experience and able to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage time & tasks independently in order to meet set deadlines.
- A strong understanding of different technology programs, and especially social media platforms is required.
- Well versed with social media trends.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office package and Photoshop.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French languages.
- Willingness to work during odd hours on weekdays, weekends as well as on Public Holidays.
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
