Modelle Hair Express based in Fort McMurray, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Receptionist-clerk. Modelle Hair Express is a premier hair salon known for its expertise in styling and beauty services. Specializing in contemporary haircuts, coloring, and styling, Modelle Hair Express offers a range of services to cater to diverse client preferences. With a team of skilled and creative hairstylists, the salon provides personalized consultations to ensure clients achieve the look they desire. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $24.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should excel at working under pressure
  • The candidates should thrive under tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be capable of efficiently handling repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should possess a high level of attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • The candidates should excel in both excellent oral and written communication
  • The candidates should be highly organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask effectively
  • The candidates should demonstrate strong time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public, and obtain and process information required to provide services
  • The candidates should be able to order office supplies, record and relay information, and schedule and confirm appointments
  • The candidates should be able to send invoices, maintain work records and logs, and receive and issue payments
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, answer the telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, calculate billing charges, perform data entry, and provide customer service
