Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the delivery of customer value. You will report to the Manager, Technical Program Management and will be responsible for driving our strategic company objectives by enabling the Product and Engineering organization to deliver exciting new product features. As we continue to grow and scale the Calendly product, it is the diligent coordination and execution of multiple product teams that will help us execute on the needs of our expanding customer base.
A day in the life of a Senior Technical Program Manager at Calendly
In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional leaders to break high-level strategy down into tactical execution. You will ensure roadmaps are aligned and maintained, and communicate progress and relevant information to the executive team. You will work closely with leadership, engineering, product, design, product marketing, CX/CS, and sales and be the driving force behind risk mitigation and trade-off conversations.
On a typical day, you will be working on:
- Program management of strategic company objectives – including planning, resourcing, progress tracking, and reporting of programs and their projects
- Provide executives, leadership, and the entire company with program-level transparency into status, KPIs, dependencies, and risks
- Lead trade-off conversations with the leadership team to actively manage program risks and dependencies while clearly documenting decisions
- Ensure release readiness and partner with customer-facing teams to support successful product launches
- Participate in planning processes to transform company objectives into an execution roadmap that becomes the source of truth
- Drive the creation of frameworks, tools, best practices and standards for program and project management
- Bring order to program operations through standardization and effective meetings
- Resolve complex and nuanced projects through collaboration and influence
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to simulate different scoping and resourcing options and facilitate those trade-offs to the executive team
What do we need from you?
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Program Management within an agile, technology product organization (ideally, B2B SaaS products); specifically, experience in managing strategic programs from product ideation to launch
- Demonstrated experience in building scalable program management processes, systems, and tools to support product planning, resource planning, communication, progress tracking and reporting, and cross-functional coordination
- Experience in collaborating across the organization and to executives to ensure strategic program success
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to balance persuasiveness with active listening of diverse perspectives to deliver results
- Strong organizational, problem solving, presentation, facilitation and follow-through skills
- A high level of business acumen and a natural curiosity with an aptitude for learning
- Experience working with teams remotely across different geographic locations
- Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps, Product Discovery), Google suite, Miro, Slack
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Change Management Practitioner certification (a plus, not a requirement)
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Base Pay Range National – Salary$128,520—$173,880 USD
