This is an exciting opportunity to join a strategically important team. Working in the Careers and Placements directorate, you will contribute to Aston’s vision for the delivery of outstanding graduate outcomes and equipping businesses and communities with the skills for the future.  

We are seeking a driven and committed individual to join our high-performing, busy but friendly team, to support the development of UK and/or international work/employability opportunities for Aston University students. With business development, recruitment, and/or stakeholder engagement experience, you will report to the Employer Engagement Manager (Postgraduate and International) and play a key role in facilitating employability outcomes for our students and graduates.  

Responsible for generating opportunities for current postgraduate students and graduates, you will offer a consultative approach to businesses, developing new business relationships, and account managing key existing employer relationships, supporting their recruitment activity. You will work closely in collaboration with Aston’s colleges and internal teams to achieve a balance between supply and demand. 

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with previous experience in B2B relationship management, and business development, along with a proven track record of developing strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including supporting customers remotely and face-to-face. 

We are a friendly team that is focused on delivering a professional service to all key stakeholders of the University. The ability to work collaboratively across other teams and cultivate good relationships is essential to the role.
