- The candidates should possess proficiency in microservice architecture, service implementation, and debugging in distributed applications in a Linux environment
- The candidates should have solid development experience and skills in Java (JDK 17+), and Java-based languages, Spring Boot, and familiarity with JavaScript, including unit testing
- The candidates should demonstrate good knowledge of Object-Oriented design patterns
- The candidates should exhibit the ability to show in-depth knowledge in areas of expertise, from frameworks to low-level implementation details
- The candidates should have experience using Jira and Agile software development
- The candidates should possess excellent written and oral English communication skills
- The candidates should be capable of not only explaining what technology to use but also explaining how the given technology stack works
- The candidates should have a working knowledge of containerization, virtualization, and service orchestration (Container, Docker, Kubernetes, and Service Mesh)
- The candidates should have practical experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform
- The candidates should have experience in developing and deploying applications in Kubernetes or any other Kubernetes-compatible container orchestrator
- The candidates should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- The candidates should have knowledge and experience with VPN, IPSec, SCTP, TLS, IPv4, and IPv6, and Routing Protocols/technologies
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to design and develop backend microservices to be deployed in Kubernetes clusters
- The candidate should be able to ensure quality, testability, scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and security of the developed implementation and services
- The candidate should be able to work with the Product Owner in requirement/user story analysis
- The candidate should be able to collaborate with the Software Architect on solution and architecture analysis
- The candidate should be able to participate in all development phases: software design, implementation, test, integration/release, deployment, bug fixing, maintenance, and support
- The candidate should be able to apply the most up-to-date techniques, architecture, and open-source solutions
- The candidate should be able to deliver a feature or use case End to End (E2E)
- The candidate should be able to conduct End to End (E2E) activities, including feature or use case design according to defined and specified user story and architecture
- The candidate should be able to perform software development, automated unit test, and feature test
- The candidate should be able to conduct E2E tests in the development environment
- The candidate should be able to provide documentation to the Doc Editor
- The candidate should be able to automate the installation procedures according to the GNP Engineering framework
- The candidate should be able to handle bug fixing
- The candidate should be able to maintain and upkeep the team’s development environment
- The candidate should be able to conduct Sprint demos after each sprint to product management and retros
