Job Description

Vivien’s Model Management is looking for a full-time Social Media Manager and Talent Agent to be located on-site in its Sydney office.

This is your opportunity to join a long-established and esteemed national model agency responsible for managing and guiding the careers of Vivien’s model and influencer talent. Although you will be an integral part of well-established team, this role also allows you to work autonomously at times – providing a wonderful opportunity to make this role your own.

About The Role:

The successful candidate should have significant talent management experience and a thorough grounding in the negotiation of influencer and/or model contract terms, rates and usage.

You must have a strong understanding and interest across all social media platforms and an enthusiasm for managing a wide range of talent.

In addition to your social media management responsibilities, you will oversee the Women’s New Faces division, giving you the opportunity to help shape the careers of some of Australia’s best young models. This role requires an industry professional who can offer caring support and guidance to young models and their parents, as well as having a keen eye for finding the next supermodel!

You will work in a collaborative fast-paced environment and must have a can-do, positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the Vivien’s social media channels.
  • Assessing the talent of prospective influencers and models – which may also include scouting on location to find new talent.
  • Management and development of New Faces talent including organising test shoots, workshops and Open Days.
  • Developing a broad network of contacts and building strong relationships with clients, PRs and journalists within the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry.
  • Pitching and promoting both influencer talent and models to brands and for press opportunities.
  • Supporting talent during meetings and media interviews.
  • Negotiating contract terms, rates and usage on behalf of talent.
  • Providing support and strategies to talent (across all four offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth) to build their social media presence and personal brand.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years in influencer or talent management, or in equivalent booking / fashion advertising roles.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of traditional and digital marketing, covering all social media platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation and schedule management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Salary negotiable depending on experience of successful candidate.
