Position Purpose
Works closely with the Tuck School’s team of marketing, public and media relations, and communications professionals to support the creation and execution of content and social media marketing for all Tuck programs, internal and external newsletters, and day-to-day communications activities.

Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications – Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge of marketing, digital marketing, communications, public/media relations, media arts, and/or journalism gained through a bachelor’s degree in one of these or a comparable field of study, or a combination of a liberal arts degree and/or relevant work experience.
- Strong writing and editing skills; ability to craft and edit engaging copy for a variety of mediums, platforms, purposes, and audiences; must be a dynamic storyteller.
- Knowledge of social media, digital marketing, and the creative arts including photography, video, and design.
- Proficiency with design platform Canva and/or other creative tools including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with photography, design, video, and basic video editing; experience creating content specific for social media.
- Basic understanding of content strategy and SEO strategy
- Knowledge of content management systems and social management tools like Expression Engine, Sprout Social, etc.
- Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.
- Able to anticipate, deliver on, and exceed the expectations of students, alumni, faculty and staff colleagues, and external partners.
- Able to introduce and drive innovation in ways small and large.

Description
Social Media and Content Creation Support:
- Supports the director of content strategy & marketing and the social media & communications Manager in the development and execution of content for all Tuck social media channels and other external marketing opportunities, including:
- Working within Canva design templates, developing social media toolkits and graphics.
- Video (reel) creation and editing.
- Editing and preparing content for publication, including Tuck360 blog posts.
- Looking for opportunities to repurpose content for various marketing needs.
- Supports social media & communications manager in organic social media management, including social monitoring and community engagement, preparing social media roundups and overheads, and identifying user-generated content.
- Helps coordinate and organize digital assets, user-generated content, and other files for social media and assists in organizing weekly and monthly content calendars.
- Act as back-up for social media and content management

Team Collaboration: Contributes ideas, input, and support to initiatives and decisions with communications and marketing implications, primarily those associated with recruitment and enrollment efforts for Tuck programs.
- Assists in the project management of marketing and branding collateral for clients across Tuck’s programs.
- Supports the day-to-day activities of a bustling communications office that serves many clients on and off-campus.
