Project Technician (Buildings)

The City of Kelowna has an opportunity for you!  Our dynamic Infrastructure Delivery Department requires an additional staff member to manage Buildings Capital related projects. Within this team the Project Technician (Buildings) primary focus is to manage the design, procurement and construction of building renovations, improvements, mechanical upgrades, civic spaces and recreation facilities. In addition to project management abilities, knowledge of building systems, codes and construction practices, plumbing, HVAC and electrical is also an asset.

You have related experience in the areas of construction, design, renovations and project management. Post-secondary Diploma in a related area plus several years’ experience.  You will have people management experience, excel at working within teams and have above average service skills.
