Summary: The University of Central Arkansas is looking for a
dynamic, student centered, person to fill the Systems Analyst position in Housing & Residence Life! The Systems Analyst will oversee the
housing software, StarRez, by monitoring and supporting key institutional systems and applications. The Systems Analyst would act as primary
support for applications that may include configuration and integrations with other applications that extend across the university. The
Systems Analysts will work closely with application end-users and vendors to tune and troubleshoot applications, provide advice and training
to end-users and maintain system documentation. The Systems Analyst will work with all members of the team to plan and coordinate testing
changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments. A successful candidate will
possess strong attention to detail, analytical research skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently with common goals
as a part of a team. The Systems Analyst reports directly to the Director of Housing Operations & BearCard and is an integral part of
the Central Office team.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Software Configuration: Maintain and develop
the current systems and online forms for housing. Troubleshooting for current applications and integrating new features to enhance the
end-user experience. Experiences with automation tools, including scripts and job schedulers.

Data Analytics and Strategy:
Review software and housing portal analytics to develop recommendations to improve the organization and processes. Understand and align the
necessity of students, housing staff and campus wide needs from housing applications.

Training end-users: Develop written
communications and materials for end-users. Conduct in person training for housing staff. Provide support via phone/email/walk-ins with
advice and recommendations for applications with students and parents.

Reporting: Creating comprehensive reports from a list
of certain individuals to receive an email to public reports for the state. Strong excel experience needed to use spreadsheets to
efficiently perform calculations and process large volumes of data.

Service: Effectively respond to students and parents
through walk-ins, phone calls, and emails. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of student development, the department of Housing &
Residence Life, and the division of Student Affairs. Serve as a resource and make referrals as appropriate. Build effective partnerships
with co-workers throughout the department and university by freely sharing information and providing assistance as needed. Ensure optimum
service to all internal and external partners in response to all requests for service and information. Maintain an inclusive office
environment that is welcoming to campus constituents.

Some weekend and evening work are required. This position may be required to
respond to large campus crises and incidents, as necessary. The position is non-classified and is considered an essential employee.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, IT systems management, or
relevant field, Master’s preferred and 2-3 years of previous relevant experience. Housing and Residence Life or higher education
experience preferred. Demonstrate integrity, initiative, dependability, openness, teamwork, a positive attitude, a commitment to the tenets
of student development and creation of inclusive communities, as well as the values and mission of the University.

Bachelor’s
degree in a relevant field or related experience and/or training. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a combination of education and
experience may be considered.

Three (3) years work experience in information technology systems administration support and
analysis.

Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.

Ability to learn quickly, work independently,
and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Strong communication skills, able to effectively interface with technical and
nontechnical staff at all levels.

Remuneration:

The compensation package includes a competitive annual
salary of $50,000 and University benefits which include a comprehensive health plan, life insurance, TIAA-CREF or Arkansas Public Employees
Retirement System, and paid leave.
