Allied Aviation based in Deer Lake, NL is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Agent, customer service – airline. Allied Aviation is a prominent player in the aviation fueling and services sector, catering to airports and airlines across the globe. With a strong presence in airport fueling operations, fuel storage, and distribution, Allied Aviation ensures the seamless and efficient supply of aviation fuel to its clients. The company’s comprehensive suite of services includes fueling operations management, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.55 hourly for 15 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Deer Lake, NL
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided 
Security and safety: Airport security clearance, Basic security clearance, and Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate dependability and reliability
  • The candidates should possess excellent oral communication skills and exhibit flexibility
  • The candidates should show initiative, be organized, and be team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to trace missing baggage and/or cargo shipments and assist clients/guests with special needs
  • The candidates should be able to assign seats, prepare boarding passes, and check baggage, attend boarding gates, and assist pre-boarding passengers
  • The candidates should be able to make, cancel, and change flight reservations, prepare and issue tickets and receipts, and provide customer service
