Job Description


Thank you for your interest in employment with Louisiana Tech University.

This is a nine-month, tenure-track
position for an applicant with a Ph.D./Au.D. in Audiology. Applicant must hold the CCC-A and be eligible for Louisiana state licensure for
the practice of audiology and dispensing of hearing aids. Three to five years of clinical and supervisory experience at a university level
is preferred but not required. New Ph.D./Au.D. graduates and mid-career scholars are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include
teaching doctoral courses in audiology in areas of expertise and interest, providing clinical supervision to doctoral students in the
Louisiana Tech Speech and Hearing Center, developing a personal research program, directing doctoral student research, and participating in
the ongoing implementation of the Au.D. program. Faculty members also participate in departmental, college, and university committee work
and perform additional duties related to the function of the clinical training programs in speech-language pathology and audiology. Start
date is September 1, 2024. The search will remain open and applications reviewed until the position is filled.
