Job Summary

The Provost’s Office at Auburn University is excited to recruit candidates for the Curriculum Management Coordinator role! The person selected for this role will coordinate both the University-wide curriculum process and the University Bulletin within Courseleaf software as well as verify that the content has received appropriate approvals. Ensures that the student information system is updated with approved course changes or additions.

Essential Functions

Coordinates the Bulletin process to include monitoring changes and proofing the Bulletin prior to submission. Also, coordinates with departments for changes in faculty.

Responds to inquiries relative to the curricular process and procedures.

Enters course information into Banner forms when it is approved. Then ensures the course information is reflected correctly in the Bulletin.

Prepares correspondence relative to submission of curriculum materials necessary for approvals at higher levels.

Modifies workflows as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Level I: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field with no
experience.

Level II: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field plus 2
years experience in a higher education institution practices and procedures, writing and editing communications/ publications and/or in journalism and database maintenance and support.

Level III:Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field plus 4
years experience in a higher education institution practices and procedures, writing and editing communications/ publications and/or in journalism and database maintenance and support.

Minimum Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively to faculty and staff
Ability to technically understand
CIM, CourseLeaf, and Banner
Ability to learn the business functions of the
OTR

Minimum Technology Skills

Entry level knowledge of database structures
Ability to learn Banner or have some prior Banner experience
Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Access)

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor Degree
2 years of Higher Education Experience
Banner Experience
Experience using curriculum management software such as CourseLeaf
Experience updating web pages

Salary Range: $33,400 – $72,200
