This is an exciting opportunity for the suitably qualified and experienced person to join our Sport Aston team.

The role includes assisting with the delivery of the Sport Aston Marketing Plan, assisting with the production of creative marketing campaigns using appropriate imagery and well written content for the target audiences.

You will support with keeping the Sport Aston website up to date, social media channels, intranet communications and marketing materials.

We have a specialist Leisure Management software system that is critical for membership bookings, sport and event bookings and all other income generation into the business. Therefore, a proficiency in IT software and systems would be an advantage, but full training on the system will be provided to the successful applicant.

You will also be required to represent Sport Aston at university Open Days and special events where there is a physical presence required on campus to promote and market the range of sports and activities that students and staff can benefit from.

One of Sport Astons key aims is to increase participation in sports and activities by its students and staff. Therefore, part of this role will assist with the ‘Active Aston’ project which encourages participation in a healthy lifestyle to support physical and mental wellbeing across the university.

The successful candidate must have a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business and assist colleagues within Sport Aston.

The salary being offered for this role does not meet the minimum threshold required to sponsor new applicants to the Skilled Worker visa route.
