We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team on a temporary two-month contract.
This role involves organizing our accounting books, managing tax compliance, and ensuring all necessary documents are submitted accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax and VAT laws specific to Rivers State and Nigeria, and be adept at working with Zoho Books (preferred) or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

Review and organize financial records for tax preparation and compliance.
Ensure accurate filing of tax and VAT documents in line with Nigerian and Rivers State laws.
Prepare and submit all required documentation efficiently and within deadlines.
Provide guidance on tax structuring to optimize compliance and financial accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and documents.

Requirements:

Location: Based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Experience: Strong background in Nigerian tax law, VAT regulations, and general accounting practices.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Zoho Books (preferred) or QuickBooks.
Skills: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to work quickly, and deliver accurate results.
Availability: Able to commit to a full-time schedule for the next two months.
