About the role:
The Faculty of Medicine is looking for a self-motivated, experienced Technician who can manage the portable appliance testing across the Faculty and help manage the servicing of the various assets across the estate. The Faculty occupies space on 7 campuses and has a variety of research and teaching labs, including containment level 2 and 3 labs, and associated administrative offices.
What you would be doing:
You will be responsible for the portable appliance testing rota and communicating with the Departments to arrange suitable times for this. You will report items that have failed testing to them and offer solutions, liaising with the Faculty Safety Advisors where required, and to streamline various asset and servicing lists
