Job Description
GlacierGrid is a leading energy industry player dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to meet the ever-growing demand for energy. GlacierGrid focuses on shifting and reducing electricity usage for commercial establishments.
As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will work closely with the CEO and senior stakeholders to develop the company’s brand and product marketing efforts. You will help develop marketing strategies, implement our communications outreach strategy, and manage our digital presence. Your work will be impactful and help shape the image of the company – including reviewing and iterating on our product marketing materials, researching potential branding opportunities, and conducting outreach to manage the company’s PR.
This role is remote, based in the US (PST time zone availability expected).
About You
- Enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student, currently pursuing an undergraduate or advanced degree
- Experienced with social media platforms and digital marketing tools, with a keen eye for branding and storytelling
- You have a genuine passion for marketing, branding, and storytelling, with a strong interest in creating impactful messages and engaging with diverse audiences
- You’re a self-starter with a genuine passion for climate tech and innovation, ready to take ownership of tasks in a dynamic startup environment.
- Exceptional English language communication abilities, both verbally and written
- Strong academic track record, along with proven leadership and entrepreneurial abilities
- Any prior experience with product marketing, brand management, public relations, or content creation is a plus
- Experience with sustainability, climate, or energy sector is a plus
Compensation
This is a paid internship that receives:
- $15/hour for undergraduate-level candidates
- $25/hour for graduate-level candidates
Location: Remote, United States
Commitment: Part-time and Full-time roles available
