About this role
As the Implementation Associate at Waymark, you will be a key player in launching new markets and expanding existing ones. You will work closely with external health plan and provider partners, as well as internal cross-functional leaders, to ensure successful implementations. In addition, you will help develop standardized, scalable processes and artifacts that enhance Waymark’s overall implementation methodology. As the second member of the Implementation team, reporting to the VP of Implementation, you will play a vital role in facilitating Waymark’s rapid growth and impact.
Responsibilities
- Implementation Strategy: Design, refine and execute comprehensive launch plans in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with partnership agreements.
- Project Management: Oversee project planning and management across multiple work streams, including timelines, resources, and deliverables, to guarantee successful market and partnership implementations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with health plan and provider partners, as well as internal teams, to promote open communication and effective collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with diverse departments—operations, technology, marketing, compliance—to ensure all aspects of the launch are addressed and executed seamlessly.
- Onboarding and Support: Create and deliver materials and support resources for internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and understanding of our services.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges during the implementation process, proactively developing and communicating strategies to mitigate them.
- Performance Monitoring: Track performance against implementation success measures, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- Utility Player: Manage and contribute to non-implementation “special projects” as needed.
Minimum qualifications
- Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to multitask and create structure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management background with a proven ability to align diverse stakeholders.
- Systems thinker and problem solver, capable of shifting between detailed tasks and overarching goals.
- 3-5 years experience in consulting, project management, or implementation roles within the healthcare sector.
- Values teamwork and collaboration.
- Thrives in fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Proven track record of successful market or partnership launches.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana).
Salary Range:
US employees in New York City, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $96,000 – $155,000 USD
US employees in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, San Diego & Washington DC: $88,000 – $145,000 USD
US employees outside of the above listed US Cities: $85,000 – $135,000 USD
Additionally, compensation will depend on other factors, training, education, and experience.
Benefits and Other Compensation: Medical, vision, dental, basic life insurance, and stock options available for the hired applicant. Employees also receive twenty (20) vacation days, accrued over the year and eleven (11) paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Sixteen (16) weeks of parental leave for birthing parents will also be available for use after successful completion of 6 months of employment, eight (8) weeks of bonding leave for non-birthing parents. Employees are able to enroll in our 401(k) plan and commuter benefits plan.
