Job Description


Power the Casino Floor by joining the Enterprise Solutions Team at Everi.
What Will You Be Doing?
  •  Monitor and approve DevOps PRs and change management
  •  Monitor Critical files
  • Coordinate with CloudOps
  • Coordinate with System Engineers
  •  Coordinate with Operations
  • Understand and help triage live support
  • Keep track of infrastructure usage and needs
  • Track and maintain cross-team accountability on major projects and priorities (TKG, Azure migration, R7, Security, Patching)
  • Mentor team members
  • Continue to follow best practices and implement them across DevOps, pipelines, automation, etc
  •  Represent DevOps professionally to the rest of the company
  • Manage and groom the Jira board and track priorities (hopefully with help from a PM)
  • Work closely with Director of Software Development to understand priorities and relevant release dates
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a combination of  education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
  • 8 -12 years experience in a system, network, and delivery role supporting a diverse, multi -platform, and data -driven environment.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience leading a team or project. 
  • Experience with deployment and troubleshooting of complex microservice-driven applications.  
  • In-depth experience managing one or more major information processing functions, including CI/CD. 
  • Advanced knowledge and practical application of computer science, software engineering, and software development practices, including agile software development, feature driven development, and SDLC.
  • Proven ability to identify and perform root cause analysis of issues.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case’s facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130, 700  – $ 155,200 annually.
