Join our dynamic team of five Systems Engineers based in Stockholm, working in a hybrid model (60% onsite, 40% remote). You’ll demonstrate your technical expertise in architecting, deploying, and sustaining complex server infrastructures across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

 

 Our team is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of financial services on Microsoft platforms, hosted in European datacenters and MS Azure. You’ll also collaborate with international colleagues on internal applications, O365, and endpoint management.

 

We are aspiring to adopt a DevOps culture and are progressively transitioning our solutions to the cloud. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, automate, implement, and operate MS Windows-based server environments, primarily on-premises within datacenters in Frankfurt, Stockholm, and London, as well as in Azure.
  • Maintain and operate internal applications, collaboration tools, and endpoints for the internal user environment.
  • Monitor Infront financial services and market data processing systems.
  • Resolve errors and alarms quickly and provide timely escalation.
  • Work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify, and isolate technical issues.
  • Perform design, test, and implementation of complex technical solutions and architectures.
  • Complete tasks required to maintain service levels and availability of all site features and functions.
  • Help define and support process improvements.
  • Provide on-call duty between 6am and 11pm on weekdays once every 5 weeks.
  • Minimum 5 years of documented experience relevant to this position.
  • Preferred knowledge and affinity with financial technology (FinTech).
  • Experienced with O365 administration and operations.
  • Demonstrated Windows clients and server skills.
  • Experience with Azure cloud; Azure certifications (e.g., MS Azure Administrator, MS Azure Integration and Security, MS Azure Infrastructure and Deployment) are preferable.
  • An enthusiastic, positive, and effective attitude with a get-things-done approach.
  • Eager to learn about new technologies and trends; eager to further develop yourself.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills (English).

 

Preferable experience in one or more of the following:

  • Cloud computing (Azure, AWS)
  • Virtualization/clusters (Hyper-V)
  • Active Directory
  • Security
  • Database administration and management (MSSQL/Postgres)
  • Endpoint management/automation (Microsoft System Center/Intune)
  • PowerShell scripting
