Reporting to the Recruitment and Administration Manager. The successful candidate will co-ordinate the end to end recruitment for a designated area within professional services/Colleges at Aston University. You will provide guidance and support to managers on recruitment and selection processes and best practice. 

You will liaise with applicants, managers, and external agencies whilst prioritising your workload to ensure that competing deadlines are met. You will need to be able to work independently but also as part of the HR recruitment team, supporting each other to ensure that excellent customer service is provided 

You will advise managers on adverts and use the online vacancy manager system to advertise posts, invite candidates to interview, prepare and issue contracts of employment. You will be responsible for arranging pre-employment checks for new employees and creating records for them on the HR system. There will also be an opportunity work across the HR operations function where business needs require it.
