Job Description:
This position requires wastewater sampling and working with the wastewater operations staff. Daily tasks include wastewater sampling and analysis, wastewater equipment verification and calibration, assisting in daily operations and maintenance at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and assisting in daily operations and maintenance at various wastewater pumping and treatment facilities.

Job Qualifications:
MUST possess a Valid Driver’s License and have Steel Toe Boots. Preference to students enrolled in Water Engineering Technology program or equivalent post-secondary environmental program.
 
Must fulfill the Canada Summer Jobs Criteria:

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
