Indian Creek Country Club in Miami, Florida is seeking an additional Assistant Superintendent to join a highly-motivated team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, with high energy to work and learn at a world class facility. Learn on the fly while going through a major department culture change to guide the golf course into a new era. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Director of Agronomy and Golf Course Superintendent with management, direction, and leadership of all golf course and grounds operations. The Assistant will help ensure the goals of both the department and the Club are being met. With a very high degree of personal ethics and professional integrity, the Assistant will be a proactive, self-motivated team player, with the experience and ability to build a strong team, as well as partner with other departments.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role, including direct supervisory experience of a crew.
• Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in landscape and golf maintenance practices, including general irrigation maintenance and repairs.
• Must demonstrate initiative, lead by example, and support and motivate employees to reach individual and team objectives.  
• Ability to analyze and solve problems and efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining and promoting a safe work environment.
