Job Overview:
We re looking for a friendly, energetic, and skilled Barista to help us deliver a memorable caf experience. As a Barista, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting caf space.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Coffee and Espresso Drinks: Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to make a variety of beverages, including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, other specialty drinks to customer specifications, and Preparing sandwiches.
Customer Service: Greet customers with a positive attitude, take orders, and make recommendations based on preferences. Ensure that every guest has a warm, welcoming experience.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee bar area clean and organized, including counter tops, equipment, and customer seating areas. Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines.
Stock and Inventory: Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies, such as milk, coffee beans, syrups, and pastries. Restock as necessary.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside other baristas and caf staff to create a positive, supportive team atmosphere. Help with opening/closing tasks as needed.
Upselling and Promotions: Inform customers about new menu items, seasonal specials, or loyalty programs, helping to drive sales and promote repeat business.
Cash Handling: Accurately process customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash or credit card payments.
experience: Previous experience as a barista, 2 Years +.
Skills: Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and maintain a positive, friendly demeanor. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Passion: A love for coffee and creating memorable customer experiences. Eagerness to learn about different coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and caf trends.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Early mornings and evening shifts may be required.
