We’re looking for a creative and strategic Brand Manager to join our innovative team.
As the Brand Manager, you will be the guardian of Pastel’s brand identity, responsible for crafting and executing strategies that resonate with our audience and elevate our brand across Africa.
You will manage everything from market research and content creation to campaign management and public relations, ensuring that our brand stays strong and cohesive.

Your Impact

As the Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the brand identity of Pastel. You will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that resonate with our target audience and drive brand awareness across Africa.

Role Deliverables

Brand Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with Pastel's mission and business objectives.
Brand Identity: Maintain and enhance the brand identity across all platforms, ensuring consistency and coherence in messaging and visual representation.
Market Research: Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities. Use insights to inform brand strategies and positioning.
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns to promote Pastel’s products and services. Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize results.
Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content for various channels, including social media, website, email marketing, and more.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and design, to ensure brand alignment and effective communication of our value proposition.
Public Relations: Manage public relations activities and build relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility.
Brand Metrics: Develop and track key brand performance metrics. Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team on brand health and campaign effectiveness.
Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand management. Bring innovative ideas to enhance brand presence and engagement.

Requirements
What we are looking for:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or related fields, preferably in the tech or finance sector.
Skills: Strong understanding of brand strategy, market research, and campaign management.
Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative brand strategies and campaigns.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate brand vision and strategy to various stakeholders.
Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Tools: Proficiency with marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, and CRM software.
