About the Role
This exciting and varied role sits within the Marketing and Communications directorate of one of the UK’s leading universities. The team is responsible for marketing the profile of Queen Mary University of London, ranked 16th in the UK and a part of the highly regarded Russell Group. The postholder will play a key role in the attraction, recruitment, and nurture of students from the UK, EU and Overseas.
About You
You must have strong interest and experience in developing content across a multitude of channels including email marketing, paid and organic social and other digital channels including programmatic and paid search. Experience of working in Higher Education is highly desirable but not essential.
- Degree educated or suitable relevant work experience required.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems with skills and best practice knowledge in email marketing (Salesforce and Marketing Cloud are highly desirable).
- Digital native able to identify and engage with social media trends.
- Experience of developing marketing content strategies, content planning, production, and optimisation.
- Great copywriter and a keen eye for stand-out creative.
- Ability to generate performance reports and utilise results to optimise future campaigns.
- Strong stakeholder manager and team player.
- An understanding of UK and International student recruitment within higher education.
