This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.
The Academic Registrar’s Department is looking to appoint a motivated individual to the newly created position of College Operations and Communications Coordinator. The appointee will join a friendly team supporting business operations in the College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries (DCDI).
The Academic Registrar’s Department leads the University’s academic administration and academic governance functions, and at a College level ensures the effective delivery of activities, events and processes through the provision of professional support to Heads of College and their senior teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in co-ordinating and overseeing a diverse portfolio of operations and communications activity in the College. In particular, the role holder will focus on delivering internal communications for the College, supporting people administration, and supporting student induction and events. They will also co-ordinate and deliver a range of operational activities including overseeing business deliverables, data co-ordination and analysis, and record keeping.
As the successful candidate, you will be experienced in overseeing the delivery of a diverse operational portfolio to agreed objectives and deadlines. You will have demonstrable experience of working in a customer focused environment with multiple stakeholders, forming effective relationships to enable delivery and continuous improvement. As the successful candidate you will be able to evidence strong verbal and written communication skills. The position will suit a flexible individual, who is comfortable using their initiative to plan and prioritise a varied workload.
