Supervises: Marketing & Communications Work Study

Enhance the visibility, understanding, and perception of Saint
Vincent College and its mission, vision, goals, activities, and accomplishments among alumni, current students, and other core constituent
audiences.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related
field, or equivalent marketing experience in a nonprofit or higher education environment.

Experience: Three to five (3-5) years’
experience in a marketing, communications, or similar professional environment. Experience in a higher education environment preferred.

Essential Duties:

  • Active and ongoing collaboration with core campus partners who work with the College’s
    constituent audiences, including but not limited to the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations, the Office of Student Affairs,
    individual schools, and others.
  • Serve as a marketing expert and liaison for these offices and departments to provide strategic
    advice and guidance as needed and appropriate in alignment with the college’s mission and strategic plan.
  • Design, implement,
    coordinate, monitor, and assess creative and visual marketing and communications strategies related to core constituent audiences of the
    College.
  • Project-manage all projects related to alumni and current student initiatives within the Marketing and Communications
    office to ensure timely and goal-focused completion.
  • Maintain an overview of all current and planned marketing and communications
    efforts for alumni and current students to build more strategic campaigns and efforts over time.
  • Advocate for consistent branding,
    design, and messaging across all marketing channels related to constituent audiences including print, email, web, social media,
    etc.
  • Assist with contacting news media and external partners to present story ideas and photo opportunities to editors, writers, and
    photographers.
  • Assist other Marketing & Communications staff with copywriting, editing, graphic design, visual content production,
    website updates, and other core tasks aligned with the individual’s skillset.

Other Duties:

  • Assist
    the Vice President for Marketing in maintaining a comprehensive and efficient project flow across all initiatives.
  • Participate in a
    variety of College activities and events sponsored by the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations, the Office of Student Affairs, the
    Office of the President, and others as requested and appropriate.
  • Participate in community and media relations activities as
    necessary and appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Special Challenges and Environment:

Performs in a rapidly changing office environment that requires quick response to story ideas, external requests, deadline-oriented
projects, and production of materials that are of impeccable quality and appearance. The work is highly visible and requires frequent public
interface.  

10% local/regional travel is required.
