CrossBoundary Energy is recruiting a full-time Corporate Operations Officer to ensure the smooth and efficient operation CBE’s business of powering telecom towers in Nigeria with clean, reliable, energy.
You will oversee the contract management, business compliance, and supplier performance management functions, monitoring CBE’s contractual obligations, statutory compliance, and commercial risk management.
Process mapping, workflow planning, and top-tier data manipulation skills will be essential in this role in order to ensure consistent delivery on our customer’s expectations as CBE increases the power we supply over our multi-year contract.
The Corporate Operations Officer will consult daily with CBE’s internal solar maintenance, finance, legal, and commercial experts in-country to solve multidisciplinary business issues.
This is a diverse role that will challenge you to learn and execute quickly in a fast-paced industry.
This role will report directly to the CBE Telecoms Operations Director with support from CBE’s Corporate Operations Manager based in Mauritius.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the CBE Telecom Nigeria contract management, understanding our obligations to customers, suppliers, and contractors and tracking CBE’s performance against these commitments. Draft amendments or updates to these contracts with support from CBE counsel
Monitor performance of CBE’s client, suppliers, and contractors on their obligations to CBE, quantitatively identifying the best-performing vendors for future, expanded responsibilities
Represent CBE in relationships with key banking, accounting, and external legal services providers
Create process maps that track how the functional departments of CBE Telecoms Nigeria – construction, maintenance, ESG, regulatory, legal – work together, and recommend ways to streamline collaboration and information sharing
Support CBE’s finance and policy leads to monitor and maintain business statutory compliance
Design and deliver data-driven reports to Operations Director measuring project KPIs to inform management decisions and meet investor reporting requirements
Lead on short-term, interdisciplinary strategic initiatives at the request of the Operations Director
Develop new checklists, procedures, tools, procedures, and templates to better capture and organize knowledge on CBE Telecom Nigeria’s standard operating procedures
Train CBE teams on use of essential software tools to organize their information and more easily report on project progress

Required skills and qualifications:

3+ years’ experience working in operations, IT, or administration at a top-tier international corporation OR supporting growth of a start-up enterprise
Background in change management or business process optimization
Excellent strategic writing and presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Bachelor's degree
