Florida A&M University’s Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) is pleased
to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the ERP Analyst
vacancy.

Responsibilities

Under general
supervision of Associate Director, University Computer System, responsible for the documentation, problem solving, system testing,
configuration accuracy, and training to support the mission of the department and the PeopleSoft Financials assigned modules; Monitors the
automated and manual control functions and data integrity; Serves as PeopleSoft subject matter expert for assigned module; Ensures the
modules operate efficiently, accurately, and according to regulations; Serves as the facilitator to interface the assigned modules with
other Financials modules; Serves as Tier 2 Support for assigned modules; Manages and track open tickets/issues in assigned area ensuring
that issues are resolved in successful and timely manner;  Communicates and document resolutions; Works with business owners to ensure
issues are resolved in an effective and timely manner; Develops user documentation; documentation must be effective, clear, concise, and
consistent; and conducts testing of bundles, fixes, and customizations in the non-production database within timelines of the testing
schedule.

Assists business office with Quality Assurance Testing (QAT); Develops thorough and accurate test scripts for
system upgrade testing; Responsible for configuration changes, using the change management process and testing to ensure changes do not
negatively affect functionality; Reviews proposed modifications and offer alternative recommendations if viable; Resets userids and
passwords in QAT after a refresh in preparation for training conducted by the Business Owner; Works in collaboration with Business Owner to
complete any year end processing; Ensures that data quality is being met by use of Query and other tools; Communicates any identified – data
issues to the Business Owner and any additional documentation to aid in the prevention of the issue reoccurring; and fosters a work
environment, which supports the Information Technology Services department values and
behaviors.                                                 
                                

Minimum
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years of related
experience; or master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization.

Recommended Competencies

Demonstrated effective
verbal and written communication skills as evidenced, in part, by relationship management, process improvement (modeling, analysis,
redesign), and technical writing (system documentation, training materials);

Ability to organize time effectively and
efficiently;

Ability to prioritize work and take the initiative with limited supervision;

Ability to take ownership of
issues;

Seek innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions;

Maintains an effective relationship with end
users, team members, and department management;

Ability to create documentation, training material, and test scripts that meet needs
of FAMU;

Ability to provide regular status reports written, verbal, and statistical showing status of ongoing projects; and

Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial Management System modules.

Pay
Plan

This is an Administrative and Professional (A&P)
position.
