Background

The Postgraduate Career and Professional Development Team at Bayes Business School design and deliver the timetabled and credit bearing career management and employability skills curriculum, corporate engagement schedule and Student Business Clubs offering to Specialist Masters students and MBAs, providing a highly rated and highly ranked product which equips students to succeed throughout their career.

Responsibilities

This post is responsible for organisation and coordination of high quality internal and external Careers events including company presentations, student orientation student networking events and offsites and our annual careers fair. The role also involves owning the operational delivery of the professional development curriculum for our full time MBA students. You will partner with the colleagues in the operational delivery of the professional development curriculum.

Person Specification

Demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail and a hands-on approach to task management, you will have a proven track record in events planning and coordination. The position is student-facing, serving as the primary point of contact for student enquiries, you will actively provide front-facing support at the helpdesk, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and assistance.

The successful candidate must possess strong administrative capabilities, adept budget management, and an understanding of events management principles and best practices. Service quality and client satisfaction are key metrics of success in this position and this requires a comprehensive approach, covering every aspect of events management and execution to guarantee their success.

Central to this role is the commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to clients. The role demands an individual who thrives on challenges, actively contributing to the overarching goal of creating outstanding event experiences for our stakeholders.
