OPS Technical Support Aide
Job Description:
The
key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
- IT Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for
IT-related matters, collaborating with the Office of Research, UF Help Desk, Office of Professional and Workforce Development, and UF
Telecommunications as needed. - Technical Support: Offer timely assistance to staff and customers in resolving
technical issues and queries related to office equipment and software systems. - Hardware Maintenance: Oversee the
upkeep and tracking of various technical hardware including laptops, copy machines, and audiovisual equipment. - Website
Maintenance: Support website revisions and edits to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. - CRM System
Support: Provide structural design support and basic data management for our Customer Relationship Management System (HubSpot) to
optimize functionality. - Knowledge Management: Update and maintain a knowledge base to serve as a valuable
technical resource for the Biotility team.
Other duties as Assigned: Undertake other duties as assigned to
contribute to the smooth operation of Biotility’s technical infrastructure.
Expected Salary:
$16.00/hour
Minimum
Requirements:
Availability for up to 20 hours per week with consistent scheduling between 8:00 AM
and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate
technical concepts to non-technical users. - Proficiency in troubleshooting various hardware and software issues.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills for hardware tracking and maintenance.
- Excellent customer service
skills with attention to professionalism, dependability, and timeliness. - Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience editing websites in a web content
management system is preferred. - Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is preferred.
