Your expertise will be pivotal in building and scaling a robust Data Warehouse, leveraging Azure technologies, Data Factory, and Databricks to ensure the company’s data systems are resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement a modern data platform that aligns with business goals and supports data scalability.
- Lead the design and development of a Data Warehouse, transitioning the business from data immaturity to operational excellence.
- Deploy Azure technologies, Data Factory, and Databricks for seamless data integration, transformation, and analytics.
- Build and manage a data engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define data strategies, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Establish best practices for data governance, quality, and security across the organization.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and business intelligence tools, unlocking actionable insights from complex datasets.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven track record of building and scaling data systems in organizations with data immaturity.
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly Data Factory, Databricks, and related tools.
- Deep understanding of data engineering, architecture, and governance principles.
- Experience in building Data Warehouses and scalable data pipelines from the ground up.
- Leadership skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development.
- Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven experience in leading data transformation initiatives within organizations lacking mature data systems.
- Extensive hands-on expertise in Azure technologies, including Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and the ability to design and build it from scratch.
- Proficiency in designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating complex data sources.
- Solid background in data governance, quality, and security best practices.
- Experience with big data frameworks and advanced analytics tools.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing data teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence platforms is a plus (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
