Good fortune Food Industry Inc. based in St. John’s, NL is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Administration officer. Good fortune Food Industry Inc. is a family run business serving the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. We are known for our buffet and customer service in the area. We take pride in changing our buffet throughout the day and on the weekends, giving everyone a new experience at every visit. What sets us apart from the competition is the fact that all our food is homemade and freshly prepared on-site. We do not use frozen food that arrives by the truckload. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years’
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures, establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • The candidates should be able to carry out administrative activities of establishment, co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • The candidates should be able to assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • The candidates should be able to oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
