Salary: $16.55 to $18.55 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 50 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience and baking and pastry arts/baker/pastry chef
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be tolerant of odors and able to work in hot conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in cold/refrigerated environments and be accustomed to dusty conditions
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks, demonstrate manual dexterity, and exhibit effective hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, possess attention to detail, and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced environment, capable of handling heavy loads, and ready for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable in meeting commitments and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
- The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
- The candidates should be able to manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, feed and unload processing machines, and check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
